2016 Talent Share
This year there some really talented people including Carly who always amazes the crowd, and of course, mine and Adam’s comedy act which gives the crowd a good old chuckle with every joke. There were also some talented dancers too like Maya or the trio Katelyn, Ava and Maria who busted some great moves with some pretty cool music. Obviously, there always are talented and greatly gifted kids every year who dazzle the crowd. That’s exactly why they call this a talent share. But overall, every year when someone steps up on stage it shows the watchers how brave the performers always are. I think all the performers that ever stepped on the St. Helens stage should go on America’s Got Talent because they all would obviously win, and I think all the performers including me and Adam agree. Remember, before I end this paragraph, me and Adam want all the readers to know, that no matter who you are what you look like, you could make a crowd happy and entertained by showing the world why you’re special and showing the world what makes you who you are…. YOU’RE TALENT! Sincerely-Adam and Christian 6a Talent share veterans and active comedians Chancellor Festival Results The Hyperchord and Handbell groups earned a silver certificate in the Chancellor Festival. Mrs. Wai says they did a very good job. The Hyperchord and Handbell groups each performed two songs. Here are some interesting things that happened: 1. The multi-paged song “Campana Sonos” introduced the adjudicator to the Handbell group’s amazing turn-your-partner’s-page-then-turn-yours-quickly skills, despite the group members wearing thick gloves and playing multiple bells. 2. The Hyperchord group featured 2 solos sung each by 2 people in 1 song. Got all that? 3. The Hyperchord group is one of the smallest choirs you’ve ever probably seen; composed of just over 10 people (the whole choir fits in one church pew). 4. The Handbell group plays songs that require more bells than there are people in the group, so everyone must play at least 2 bells. Combine that with their amazing page-turning skills, and you’ve got a tiny but talented group. By Isabella |
